Mount Airy Ranked #53 by Money Magazine
The word is in....Mount Airy, Maryland was ranked #53 out of the Top 100 Small Towns to live in in the United States! We have 8800 residents enjoying a great quality of life. I personally have lived here for the past 10 years and love it. My husband Rich and I have been selling real esate here almost the entire 10 years and it gives us the opportunity to really meet the members of the community and know the area in depth. It's a city that is truly a community.
We have so many things right here that make it a wonderful place to be. There are several wineries such as Linganore Winery that has a monthly festival all summer long. Mount Airy is home to the Dog Park for all of Carroll County, we have several good Restaurants and of course we are a Main Street Community. We recently had a fire that bonded the entire town together and money was raised and Main Street rebuilt in the section that burned down. It was restored with all of the original historical look and is better than ever.
