Mt Airy Fall Festival

Mt Airy Fall Festival

This year the Mount Airy Fall Festival will be held October 3rd and 4th.  It's day filled with fun for everyone!  This will be the 26th annual Festival! It's held on Main Street and has vendors and interests for everyone.  You will find all kinds of arts, food and fun for kids and adults alike.  Start your holiday shopping right here...jewelry, crafts for the home, handmade furniture, stained glass just to name a few.  Hungry?  The smell of food floats through the air with of course, funnel cakes, pit beef and barbeque, burger and dogs.  You will find crab soup, apples and more!

There will be a variety of entertainment available throughout the weekend too.  It looks like this:

Saturday - Choe's Hap Ki Do Academy at 11 am, St Andrew's Presbyterian Praise Band from 12 - 4:00pm, Emily Henline at 1 pm and Michael Cavalier arom 12- 4:30 pm

Sunday - Scott Barrett and Friends 12-5:00 pm, Hard Swimming Fish 12-5:00 pm, Hi Ya Karate performs at 1:00pm, Steve Flynn 2:30 - 4:30 pm.

Love a good contest? Like to eat...a lot?!  Join in on the spaghetti eating contest on Sunday at 2:00 !

Year after year it's a great time and it's a wonderful time to feel the community come alive and together.  It's no surpise that Mt Airy was ranked #53 in the Top 100 Best Small Towns in America!! Don't worry about parking either.  You can park freely in the Mt Airy Carnival Grounds (at the Twin Arch Shopping Center) and a free shuttle service will run from there to the downtown area every 10 minutes throughout the weekend.
